This is the humming tune for the movie “My Name Is Khan” directed by Karan Johar. This movie is based on the issue of Muslims being ill-treated as terrorists. This movie was also awaited by most of us as an uprising of Shah Rukh Khan’s feeling when he was treated badly by U.S officials, the fact of him being a very well known celebrity last year.
The movie has a beautiful screenplay and good picturisation of the story. Shah Rukh Khan’s plays the lead of Rizvan Khan a person having Asperger’s Syndrome (fear of accepting new things and some special colors). This character is very intelligent and understands very well the basic concepts. He can repair almost any mechanical products. He is taught by his mother that there are two kinds of people in this world, Good people who do good deeds and bad people who do bad deeds. He follows the same path taught by his mother and reaches America after his mother’s death to his small brother who holds his own business of beauty products. He is forced to do the marketing job for his brother out of no way. With an intention to meet the U.S president to convey him the message that he is a Muslim with his Name having the sir name as “Khan” and that he is not a terrorist due to his sufferings which he faced after the 9/11th. Out of innocence he does many things which make him suspect able terrorist. After this down fall he is saved by a student Journalist, after knowing his real story, through press coverage and media. He does many good deeds in the way of Meeting the U.S president to convey his message. He is famous out of his good deeds and at last he meets the president.
This story has all the emotional touches which a good movie should have i.e Mother, wife and child sentiments. A great movie which everyone should see to remove the illogical thinking which people have in their minds towards our fellow humans who have been grouped as Muslims.
